Creating a store for practical madness

Fornasetti’s first-ever online store not only had to be shoppable but also had to tell the rich and eclectic story behind the whole world of the iconic Milanese Atelier.
Since Piero Fornasetti founded his atelier in Milan in the 1950s, Fornasetti has been transforming ordinary objects into art giving them that trademark touch of “practical madness” that makes the atelier so utterly unique in the worlds of Art and Design today.
The new fornasetti.com had to provide the perfect setting for all of this – it had to provide a stage for the wonderful world of Fornasetti as well as providing a simple, intuitive and effective interface for online customers.
